One of Australia's most recognised names in pollution control and G.R.C.  We manufacture glass fibre concrete light weight products which include precast drainage pits and pollution products such as: grease arrestors, oil separators, general purpose pits and basket arrestors to name a few.   In addition to our fibre reinforced concrete pollution products and pits, we also manufacture a large range of cast iron, galvanised and council,  gully and sump grates as well as cast iron gastight manhole / access covers either in single, multipart or fire rated.   

Our pollution products are approved, tested specified or used by:
Public Works Department,  Sydney Water, Department of Housing, Hunter District Water Board, Queensland Local Government Committee, ASSET services, A.C.T. Electricity and Water, Water Corporation.

Some of our specialist products have been designed and made for relevant bodies, such as our discharge control pit, electrical cable and conduit ducting.  For such bodies as local council's and Energy Australia.

Company Profile.

Mascot Engineering Group was originally established in 1920 as an iron foundry specialising in the manufacture of drainage gratings and manhole covers.  Although these original products are still available, the company is now a leader in the field of pollution control

In the 1980's, Mascot Engineering and the Sydney Water Board collaborated on modifying the existing grease arrestor design.  The finished product proved so successful and efficient it has now become the accepted standard for all food establishments.

Professionals in the motor industry are beginning to adopt a new attitude to their work practices in view of the stringent rules and harsh penalties imposed be the Environmental Protection Authority.  This change in attitude towards the control of pollution and effects on the environment is Mascot Engineering's expertise.
