MODIFICATIONS AVAILABLE
HOLD-DOWN BOLTS
For security purposes or to prevent uplift, covers can be fitted with hold-down bolts.  Unless otherwise requested, bolts are high tensile steel with socket head, removable by use of allen key.
INSTALLATION
If fitting cover after the pit has been constructed, form a rebate to the entire perimeter of the pit wall.
Correct rebate sizes can be seen here
Ensure that rebate faces are square and parallel.
If packing is required to achieve the desired height, ensure that the intended material is suitable, i.e. metal shims or packers are ideal.

Note:
For the ease of operation, the cover may be removed from the frame after noting the direction of removal and marking same.
Replace the cover in the same direction as was originally removed, first checking that no dirt or grit are present on seating edges of frame or cover.
