|
STANDARD FEATURES
 | All frames are designed to provide maximum
resistance to deflection once installed. |

ribbed design to provide exceptional strength characteristics under
all conditions. |
 | Mascot's range of non-gastight covers are available to
suit all load conditions. From heavy duty traffic, through to
commercial passenger aircraft. |

of Australian State Road (N.A.A.S.R.A), have been observed during
the design of products for road and highway application. |
 | All "clear opening"
dimensions are quoted as the distance between the leading edges of
opposing frame members. |
|
MODIFICATIONS AVAILABLE
 | HOLD-DOWN BOLTS
For security purposes or to prevent uplift, covers
can be fitted with hold-down bolts. Unless otherwise
requested, bolts are high tensile steel with socket head, removable
by use of allen key. |
|
INSTALLATION
 | If fitting cover after the pit has been
constructed, form a rebate to the entire perimeter of the pit wall.
Correct rebate sizes can be seen here |
 | Ensure that rebate faces are square and parallel. |
 | If packing is required to achieve the desired
height, ensure that the intended material is suitable, i.e. metal
shims or packers are ideal.
Note: |
 | For the ease of operation, the cover may be removed from the frame
after noting the direction of removal and marking same. |
 | Replace the cover in the same direction as was
originally removed, first checking that no dirt or grit are present
on seating edges of frame or cover. |
