Collaboration Secures Mascot’s Approval for Changi East

Mascot Engineering’s F900 and E600 ductile iron grating and gastight and watertight access covers have been approved for use on Singapore’s Changi East development, following a comprehensive assessment process undertaken with the project team and local stakeholders.

Achieving approval required close collaboration with the asset owner (Changi), their consultants, contractors, installers and relevant authorities. Our team worked through technical reviews, product testing and practical installation assessments to demonstrate compliance with the project’s demanding requirements.

The process considered both product performance and suitability for the application. Working alongside those responsible for installation and operation allowed Mascot to address project-specific requirements and support the assessment with the necessary technical information.

This achievement reflects the expertise and commitment of Mascot’s engineering, manufacturing and quality teams, supported by our project partners in Singapore. It also demonstrates our ability to work collaboratively through complex approval requirements for major international infrastructure.
