OrcaDrain for Major Infrastructure in WA

OrcaDrain 300mm-wide drainage channels were supplied to a major infrastructure project in Western Australia, combining polymer concrete construction with Class E ductile iron grating.

The system provided heavy-duty drainage with P5-rated slip-resistant grates, addressing both high load demands and pedestrian safety. Built-in edge rails provided a robust interface between the channels and grates, while stainless steel bolt-down fixings secured the grates in place.

The project demonstrated OrcaDrain’s capability to meet demanding infrastructure requirements. The project name and location remain confidential.

This project formed part of Orca’s established project history before the brand joined Mascot Engineering. OrcaDrain is now a new addition to the Mascot Engineering range, bringing proven polymer concrete drainage technology and Australian manufacturing expertise to our broader drainage offering.
