OrcaDrain at BP Williams Landing

Australian-made OrcaDrain CV200 polymer concrete drainage channels were installed at BP Williams Landing in Victoria, providing a heavy-duty drainage solution for the service station environment.

The project required a Class E load-rated system to accommodate heavy vehicle traffic. Integrated ductile iron edge rails provided a robust interface between the channels and grates, while heel-safe grating supported pedestrian movement, including people using wheelchairs and mobility aids.

The polymer concrete channels offered corrosion resistance, strength and durability, with resistance to weathering, acids and alkalis. These properties made the material well suited to the demands of service station drainage.

Widely specified for drainage channels, polymer concrete is recognised as one of the world’s leading materials for trench drainage systems. At BP Williams Landing, Australian manufacturing combined this proven material with a channel and grate system suited to both heavy traffic and pedestrian use.

This project formed part of Orca’s established project history before the brand joined Mascot Engineering. OrcaDrain is now a new addition to the Mascot Engineering range, bringing proven polymer concrete drainage technology and Australian manufacturing expertise to our broader drainage offering.
