Distribution Centre – Class E Load Rating

When Asahi Beverages needed to upgrade their container receiving area in their Tullamarine distribution centre, the contractor chose Mascot GRC Pits, Access Covers and Grating for the project.

Asahi Beverages produce some the world’s most iconic brands such as Schweppes, Pepsi, Gatorade, Cottee’s and of course Asahi.  With such a large number of containers moving throughout the site, the engineer specified that products meeting a Class E loading (AS3996:2019 – 400kN) be installed.

Mascot GRC Pits, single and three part infill access covers as well as GMS grating in 600sq, 900×600 and 900sq was supplied to the local contractor from our branch just around the corner from the site.
