Supplying critical electrical infrastructure beneath one of Western Sydney’s most iconic community spaces.
Fairfield Showground has undergone a major transformation, delivering new facilities and improved public spaces to support one of the region’s most diverse and vibrant communities. As part of this high-profile redevelopment, Mascot Engineering was proud to supply essential underground infrastructure to support the electrical and communication needs of the site.
Mascot GRC Cable Pits were selected for their strength, lightweight installation and long service life… ideal for a public space that hosts everything from major festivals and sporting events to local community activities. Paired with Class B and Class C Galvanised Mild Steel (GMS) Checkerplate Covers, these solutions provide secure, safe and easy access for maintenance crews, while blending seamlessly into a busy, multi-use environment.
With our head office and GRC Production facility based just down the road in Smithfield, this was more than just another project… it was local. Many of our staff know the showground well, whether attending weekend events or simply passing by on their daily commute, making it a particularly rewarding project to supply.
From project planning through to delivery, Mascot Engineering worked closely with contractors and suppliers to ensure a smooth rollout across the expansive site.
Proudly Australian made, our products are designed to perform in tough outdoor conditions… helping futureproof this much-loved destination for generations to come.
