Heelproof Grates for Parks & Playgrounds

At Mascot Engineering, we understand the importance of safe grating options in public spacing, particularly within a playground designed for small children.

Located adjacent to the recently refurbished Tramsheds, Harold Park has a custom-built playground, slides, swings and BBQ’s.  The 3.8-hectare green space links parks to the Glebe foreshore features an extensive stormwater harvesting and treatment system that meets 80% of the parks irrigation needs.

Our lightweight concrete (Mascot GRC) pits paired with our stainless steel heelproof anti-slip grates were provided for the new Harold Park Playground, located in Glebe, an inner-western suburb of Sydney.
