The Ribbon

The Ribbon Darling Harbour is a mixed-use development project in Sydney, Australia. The project is being developed by Greaton, a leading Australian property developer, and it includes a 25-story tower, which will feature a hotel with 590 rooms, as well as residential apartments and commercial space.

The tower will be linked to an adjacent heritage-listed building that will be refurbished and re-purposed to include restaurants, bars, and event space. The project’s design is by award-winning architecture firm, Hassell Studio, and it is situated in an ideal location in the Sydney central business district, offering stunning views of the city skyline, Darling Harbour, and the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Construction began in 2018, and the project is expected to be completed by 2023. The Ribbon Darling Harbour is set to become a new landmark destination in Sydney, offering a mix of luxury accommodation, retail and dining options, and world-class event spaces.

To service the electrical needs of the project a series of Mascot’s GRC Electrical Pit packages coupled with our Paver Infill Covers in Class D were the right solution for the client. The lightweight nature of GRC makes for a faster and easier installation, and our Paver Infill Covers in Class D ensures a seamless integration with the surrounding footpath areas of the project.

Mascot Engineering electrical enclosure products can be seen right through the greater Darling Harbour precinct. We are proud to be a part of Australia’s most significant civil and infrastructure projects.
