Applications

If your business discharges solids, oil, grease and other substances to the sewer, you will likely be required to install an appropriate trade waste pre-treatment device.

Choosing the right product

Generally a Hydraulic Engineer in association with the local water authority or council will assess your proposed use and recommend a pre-treatment device and the size required.
Mascot Engineering have the largest range of authorised trade waste pre-treatment devices in Australia, so regardless of the product and size, we’re sure to have one to suit.
Mascot Engineering can also provide custom units with PVC, Cast Iron or HDPE pipes in various sizes.

Freight & Install

Mascot Engineering runs a fleet of delivery vehicles in all locations. These vehicles range from small utes to crane trucks, all equipped with experienced drivers that offer a level of service you’d expect from an industry leader with a reputation to uphold.

If your project is in a Regional area, we have a number of freight and courier companies we work with to ensure your goods arrive on time and in one piece.

Regardless of where you are, Mascot Engineering’s experienced Operations team ensures the product you need is on site when you need it, not when we can.

Weight

All Mascot Engineering Trade Wastewater Pre-Treatment products are manufactured from Glass Reinforced Concrete (GRC) ensuring your on-site costs are also kept to a minimum – vital when you’re dealing with such large and bulky products. Take our Grease Traps for example; our GA100 (1000L) weighs 324kg and is designed to fit through a standard doorway – a steel reinforced concrete equivalent weighs in at a hefty 2.5 tonne!

Covers

All Mascot Engineering trade waste covers are engineered and manufactured to meet the load ratings specified in AS3996. These covers are water and gastight ensuring unpleasant odours are kept within. The standard covers are supplied already encased in a concrete surround to ease installation and Australian Standard key holes are utilised for access and lifting keys (short and long handle) are available. Custom, raised and decorative edge covers are available also.
