Multi Part Infill Covers (Class E)
The updated 2019 version of the Australian Standard for Access Covers and Grates – AS3996 – notes that Access Covers tested to Class E (400Kn) be installed in freeway and motorway carriageways. Given this change, Mascot Engineering have begun development of a new range of Class E Covers to suit.
At the moment the Class E range consists of 600sq, 900×600 and 900sq – all of which can be put together (locally) as a multipart. Our Class E infill covers range is being added to constantly and a chart of example sizes will be developed and added to this page soon.
